English Tuition in Singapore
Small-group English tuition for Primary 1 to Secondary 4 — maximum six students per class, MOE-aligned, and focused on reading, writing and speaking with confidence.
English is hard to improve in a big class because the feedback that matters — on a composition, on how a child reads aloud, on the reasoning behind a comprehension answer — takes time per child that a room of thirty does not allow. With six students, our teachers give that feedback every lesson.
We cover the full MOE-aligned syllabus, from phonics and reading fluency in the early years through to PSLE English and the O-Level papers. Composition work focuses on planning, structure and precise vocabulary; comprehension work on evidence and inference; and oral is practised every term so it never becomes an afterthought.
English by Level
Lower Primary English (P1–P2)
Phonics, reading fluency, sentence structure, and the confidence to speak in full sentences — the foundation everything later builds on.
Upper Primary English (P3–P4)
Comprehension strategies, grammar accuracy, and early composition — planning a story, building a character, and choosing precise words.
PSLE English (P5–P6)
Paper 2 comprehension and synthesis, situational and continuous writing, and oral practice, with feedback aimed at the AL bands.
Secondary English (S1–S4)
O-Level Paper 1 (editing, situational writing, continuous writing) and Paper 2 (comprehension, visual text, summary), plus discursive and argumentative essays.

How big are your English tuition classes?

Every English class is capped at six students. In a group that size the teacher can hear each child read aloud, mark compositions in the lesson, and give feedback that is specific to that child rather than the class average.
Do you follow the MOE English syllabus?

Yes. Our Primary and Secondary English programmes follow the latest MOE-aligned syllabus — comprehension, composition, grammar, vocabulary, and oral (Reading Aloud and Stimulus-Based Conversation), through to O-Level Paper 1 and Paper 2.
My child reads well but writes flat, predictable compositions. Can you help?

Yes. We work on planning before writing, showing rather than telling, controlling tone and pace, and building a bank of precise vocabulary — so compositions have shape and voice, not just correct grammar.
Do you prepare students for PSLE and O-Level oral?

Yes. Oral is practised every term, with timed Reading Aloud and Stimulus-Based Conversation, and honest feedback on fluency, expression and the quality of ideas.
